Ignite Dubai Racing Camps

3 and 5-day Dubai karting camps

Three days.
One better driver.

A structured driver camp with a professional race team: baseline on day one, development on day two, a race on day three — and an Ignite Driver Report to take home. Dates are arranged by enquiry around your trip, October to April.

The 3-day camp

Day by day.

  1. 01Day one

    Baseline

Seat fitting, kart familiarisation, track walk, driving assessment, onboard recording, telemetry baseline and first technique coaching.

  2. 02Day two

    Development

Braking, racing line, starts, overtaking and defending — with a data review and coach-comparison laps between sessions.

  3. 03Day three

    Race

Qualifying simulation, heat racing, race strategy, a final, trophies — and a professional Ignite Driver Report to take home.

The 5-day camp

Add a second circuit.

Days four and five move to a second UAE circuit. Track learning is a skill in itself — and two circuits in one trip is something a driver cannot do at home.

  1. 01Day four

    Second circuit

Transfer to a second UAE circuit. New track, same process: walk, baseline, develop. Track learning is a skill in itself.

  2. 02Day five

    Race two

A second race day at the new circuit, a final data debrief with the family, and an updated Driver Report.

The Ignite Driver Report

What the family takes home.

Every camp ends with a professional report: the driver's speed trace against the coach reference, their Development Score across ten skills, onboard footage and the coach's recommendation for what to work on at home — and where they would fit in an Ignite programme.

Data
Best lap, consistency band, sector times, corner comparison at the circuit's key corners.
Profile
Development Score at the end of the camp, with the coach's notes on each skill.
Video
Onboard clips from day one and day three, so the change is visible.
Next
A recommended programme — at home or on the next trip.

Questions

What age can attend a camp?

First Drive-style camps run from age four where the facility permits; Bambino camps from five; and Mini, Junior and Senior camps for drivers who already race. Siblings of different ages can be accommodated in parallel groups.

Does my child need experience?

No. A first-time driver follows the same three-day structure at a slower pace, with the coach at their side throughout. Experienced drivers get a faster baseline and more data work.

What do we need to bring?

Nothing but the child. Kart, engine, fuel, tyres, helmet, suit, gloves, boots and rib protector are all provided and fitted on day one. Drivers with their own helmet are welcome to bring it.

When do camps run?

Camps are arranged by enquiry around your travel dates rather than from a fixed public calendar: tell us when you are in Dubai and we build the three or five days around it. October to April is the UAE karting season and the comfortable months for young drivers. School-holiday weeks — October half term, Christmas, February half term and Easter — are the busiest, so ask early.

Can we combine a camp with a race weekend?

Yes. If a camp coincides with an IAME UAE or club round and the driver is ready, the third day can become a real race entry with the Ignite team.
